CELTICA VALLE D’AOSTA ON THE ROOF OF EUROPE

At Pila, the special event "A Star in the Presence of the Giants"

On Thursday, 2 July, at an altitude of 2,700 metres, in the magnificent setting of Stella di Pila, the music of the 30th edition of Celtica meets the enchanting sunset over Mont Blanc with Celtic Knot Pipes and Drums, L’Orage and Green Lads.

After your purchase, collect your ticket at the ticket offices or the automatic ticket machines, using the QR code shown on your purchase receipt.

For the occasion of the event, the gondola lifts will operate on a continuous schedule.

  • Aosta–Pila Gondola: from 09:00 to 23:00
  • Pila–Stella Gondola: from 09:15 to 22:30

The experience will accompany visitors until sunset through three outstanding musical performances:

5:30 pm – 6:30 pm | CELTIC KNOT PIPES AND DRUMS
The solemn sound of bagpipes and drums will open the event, creating a unique atmosphere among the mountain peaks.

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm | L'ORAGE
The renowned Aosta Valley band will bring its vibrant folk-rock energy to the high-altitude stage.

8:00 pm – 9:30 pm | GREEN LADS
The grand finale will feature the overwhelming energy of the Breton band, leading the audience on an unforgettable musical journey overlooking Mont Blanc.

Practical Information

The ticket can be purchased online:

  • with the PICK-UP option at our ticket offices and vending machines, upon presentation of the QR code received by email.
  • with the RECHARGE option of a chip-card already in your possession. In this case, once the purchase is complete, it is possible to go directly to the lift gates: the ticket will be activated on the first pass through the turnstiles.
