Stella di Pila

Discover the Stella di Pila experience and choose the perfect option to enjoy the mountains surrounded by spectacular views, relaxation and high-altitude flavours.

All products are also available as gift options: an original idea to surprise someone special with an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Aosta Valley mountains.

The process is simple: select your preferred product and proceed to payment. After your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email containing:

  • the QR code to collect lift tickets at ticket offices or vending machines;
  • the QR code to redeem the lunch at the panoramic bistrot La Stella di Pila.


If you choose the gift option, you can send the codes directly to the recipient via email through our system, making the experience even more special. Alternatively, for a more personal touch, you can print the codes and hand-deliver them. To gift products to different recipients, separate purchases are required in order to generate dedicated codes for each gift.

Panoramic Lift

Reach La Stella and its boundless panorama to admire all the peaks over 4,000 metres.Includes ascent/descent by gondola from Aosta to La Stella.

Description

Personal and non-transferable ticket, it allows access to both the Aosta–Pila cable car and the Pila–Stella cable car, for a panoramic journey including ascent and descent.

The total travel time from Aosta to La Stella di Pila is approximately 30 minutes.

Both lifts have intermediate stations:

  • the Aosta–Pila gondola reaches its final station after the stops at Les Fleurs and Plan Praz;
  • the Pila–Stella gondola arrives at its top station after the intermediate stops of Gorraz and Couis.


From the exit of the Aosta–Pila gondola you can easily reach the departure of the Pila–Stella gondola via a short, signposted walking path of about 25 meters.


Practical Information

The ticket can be purchased online:

  • with the PICK-UP option at our ticket offices and vending machines, upon presentation of the QR code received by email.
  • with the RECHARGE option of a chip-card already in your possession. In this case, once the purchase is complete, it is possible to go directly to the lift gates: the ticket will be activated on the first pass through the turnstiles.

On the gift you received you will find your booking ID (format 160-XXXXXX): click on this link and enter your booking ID in the appropriate field. Complete the process by selecting the date of your lunch at the restaurant La Stella di Pila.

Remember: if you have received a gift for multiple people, you will need to enter all booking IDs and proceed for each one
(1 booking ID = 1 person)

Do you want to change your booking?

Have you already booked but want to change the date and/or time? No problem!
To modify your booking at the restaurant La Stella di Pila, click on this link and enter your booking ID (format 160-XXXXXX) in the appropriate field. You will be able to select a new date and time from those available.
